Practice Closure for Staff Training (PLT)
Our practice will be closed periodically for protected learning time to allow all staff to take part in essential training. If you require urgent medical attention during this time, please call the practice as usual. You will be redirected to a dedicated call handler who will triage you to the most appropriate clinician. For routine enquiries, such as blood results or prescription requests, please contact the practice when we reopen.
PLT Dates: 13.05.26 2-6pm, 2.9.26 2-6pm, 9.12.26 2-6pm.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for both patients and staff. Our team is here to help you, and we ask that all patients treat staff with courtesy and respect at all times. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to any form of abusive, aggressive, violent or discriminatory behaviour towards our staff or other patients. This includes verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, and physical aggression. Such behaviour may result in removal from the practice list and, where appropriate, involvement of external agencies. For safety reasons, we may not be able to proceed with routine examinations or appointments if a patient is under the influence of alcohol or drugs to the extent that it affects their ability to safely engage or provide informed consent. In these situations, the clinician may need to rearrange the appointment. However, where there is an urgent clinical need, an assessment will still take place.
